Are you a versatile technician who can handle both mechanical systems and panel repairs with confidence? We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our operations team – someone with the know-how to tackle diagnostics, body alignment, strip & fit, welding, and reinstating safety-critical systems to manufacturer standards.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same from straightening frames and repairing panels to diagnosing electrical issues and recalibrating driver assistance systems.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out mechanical, electrical, and panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnosing faults, welding, jigging, pulling and aligning panels and body structures
- Rebuilding vehicles post-repair, ensuring safety systems (airbags, ADAS, RADAR/LIDAR) are fully functional
- Preparing job cards, reporting additional work, and keeping all documentation accurate
- Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards with precision and care
What we’re looking for:
- NVQ or equivalent in mechanical and body repair disciplines
- Strong knowledge of engines, suspension, electrical systems, and body structures
- Skilled with diagnostic tools, wheel alignment systems, welding equipment and modern repair technology
- A detail-driven, organised professional who values doing the job right the first time
- Someone who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team
